A river in the Morvern district of the W Highlands, the Black Water rises as headstreams in the vicinity of Achagavel, 2½ miles (4 km) south of Loch Sunart. It flows southwest through Gleann Dubh to Acharn, falling into the River Aline at the outflow of Loch Arienas, having completed a course of 6 miles (10 km).
