Black Loch

A lochan in the Machars of SW Dumfries and Galloway, Black Loch is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) north of Mochrum Loch and a half-mile (0.8 km) northeast of Castle Loch. It extends to 11.3 ha (27.9 acres) and contains several tiny islets. There is another much smaller Black Loch only 2¼ miles (3.5 km) to the northeast.
