A tiny lochan on Craigeach Moor in the Machars of SW Dumfries and Galloway, Black Loch is located a half-mile (1 km) northeast of Craigeach Fell and a mile (1.7 km) west southwest of Clugston Loch. There is another much larger Black Loch only 2¼ miles (3.5 km) to the southwest.
