Glenwhan Lochs


(Lochs of the Eyes)

A pair of little lochans, located to west of Glen Luce in W Dumfries and Galloway, the Glenwhan Lochs (also known as the Lochs of the Eyes) lie 300m (984 feet) apart on the edge of the Glenwhan Forest, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) east northeast of Castle Kennedy. They are the source of the Craig Burn and the Southern Upland Way passes between them.
