Loch of Fyntalloch

A small loch in Galloway, the Loch of Fyntalloch lies immediately to the southwest of Loch Ochiltree, into which it drains through a small channel. It receives the Black Burn of Kirkcalla from the northwest. Plantation forest extends round all but its eastern shore. The loch is stocked with brown and rainbow trout by the Newton Stewart Angling Association for recreational fly fishing, and also provides pike and perch.
