Loch of the Lowes StrandA stream of Dumfries and Galloway, the Loch of the Lowes Strand rises in the Loch of the Lowes, 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Newton Stewart, and flows west southwest for 1½ miles (2.5 km) to reach the Penkiln Burn.
