Shalloch Burn

A tributary of the Old Water in central Dumfries and Galloway, the Shalloch Burn rises in plantation forest on the northern slopes of Bennan, 1½ miles (2.5 km) west of the Glenkiln Reservoir and 3 miles (5 km) west northwest of Shawhead. It flows northeast for a mile (1.5 km) joining the Marglolly Burn to form the Old Water immediately to the north of Cornlee Bridge.
