Dulnain, River

A river rising to the north of Kingussie in the Monadhliath Mountains of Highland Council Area, the Dulnain flows 28 miles (45 km) southeast to join the River Spey near Dulnain Bridge, 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Grantown-on-Spey. It passes through Carrbridge where it is crossed by the remains of a pack-horse bridge built in 1717 and said to be the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands.
