Allt a' Gheallaidh
(Allt a Gheallaidh)

A river which forms the border between Highland and Moray Council Areas for much of its course, Allt Gheallaidh rises between Carn Kitty and Carn Dearg (both 521m / 1709 feet). It descends for 8 miles (11 km) to the southeast through Glen Gheallaidh and the Scootmore Forest to join the River Spey at Pitchroy, 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Aberlour, near the Spey's confluence with the River Avon.
