River Braan

A river of Perth and Kinross, the Braan emerges from the east end of Loch Freuchie, to the west of Amulree. It flows 11 miles (17 km) eastwards through Strath Braan to join the River Tay at Dunkeld. Nearly 3 miles (5 km) from its mouth at Rumbling Bridge, the river falls into a deep gorge. The Falls of the Braan form a picturesque cascade.
