White Cart Water and Town Hall, Paisley

The White Cart Water rises in the hills of the East Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire border. It flows through Busby, Cathcart, past the site of the Battle of Langside and Pollokshaws, where it flows through the Pollok Country Park, before joining the Black Cart Water at Paisley. Between Eaglesham and Netherlee, the White Cart Water forms the boundary between the East Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire, and then the East Renfrewshire and Glasgow City Council areas.
