Black BurnA section of river in the S Scottish Borders, the Black Burn rises as headstreams which descend from Knox Knowe and Carter Fell on the English border. It flows north for 2 miles (3 km) where it joins with the Jed Water a mile (1.5 km) southeast of Southdean and 8 miles (13 km) south of Jedburgh.
