Calder Water
(Rotten Calder)

The Calder Water rises on the northeast slopes of the Laird's Seat to the south of East Kilbride in South Lanarkshire. It flows northeast becoming the Rotten Calder after receiving the Rotten Burn 2 miles (3 km) southeast of East Kilbride. Passing through Calderglen Country Park, the river continues in a northeasterly direction before joining the River Clyde a mile (1.5 km) west of Uddingston having completed a course of 9 miles (15 km).
