Loch Papadil

A small loch on the southwestern coast of Rum in the Inner Hebrides, Loch Papadil is situated 2¾ miles (4.5 km) southeast of Harris. Extending to an area of 6 ha (14.7 acres), it receives the Papadil Burn which gathers a collection of streams that descend from Sgurr nan Gillean to the northeast. The loch is connected to the sea by a very short channel. The ruined Papadil Lodge is located on its northeastern shore.
