Douglas Water

A river of South Lanarkshire the Douglas Water rises 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Douglas and flows 20 miles (32 km) northeast, passing through the settlements of Douglas and Douglas Water. It joins the River Clyde 3 miles (5 km) south of Lanark and 2 miles (3 km) south of the New Lanark Heritage Centre and the Falls of Clyde.
