Glen Orchy

Glen Orchy is the valley that carries the River Orchy from the settlement of Bridge of Orchy southwest through the Strath of Orchy and into the eastern end of Loch Awe. It is 14 miles (22.5 km) in length and extensively forested. The B8074 road also runs through the glen, with a car park next to the Eas Urchaidh waterfall. From here a track extends up the west side of the valley to the head of Allt Broighleachan where there is a protected remnant of ancient Caledonian pine forest.
