Oykel, Strath

Strath Oykel represents the lower section of the valley of the River Oykel between Oykel Bridge and Invershin, on the border between the Sutherland and Ross & Cromarty districts of Highland Council Area. The River Oykel receives the River Cassley and becomes the Kyle of Sutherland, before receiving the River Shin. Glen Oykel lies further upstream, to the northwest of Lubcroy.
