An elongated summit in SE Islay, Argyll and Bute, Beinn Bhan reaches a height of 471m (1545 feet), some 8 miles (11 km) northeast of Port Ellen. This is the third highest peak on the island, and the loftiest of its multiple summits is marked by a cairn.
