Galawhistle Burn

A tributary of the Monks Water in South Lanarkshire, the Galawhistle Burn rises on the southeastern slopes of Sclanor Hill in East Ayrshire, a half-mile (1 km) north of Glenbuck. It flows east, but much of its course was disrupted by open cast coal in the second half of the 20th C. It falls into the Monks Water within the Galawhistle Wind Farm, 2 miles (3 km) from its source.
