Cameron Parish Kirk

A parish in east Fife that contains a pattern of dispersed farmsteads as well as the settlements of Denhead, Lathones and Radernie, Cameron is associated with Kate Dalrymple who was immortalised by the peasant poet William Watt (1792 - 1859) and is thought to have lived in a cottage by the Cameron Burn. This burn now flows eastwards out of Cameron Reservoir to meet the Kenly Water east of Stravithie, the reservoir being the main source of water for St Andrews.
