A reservoir retained by a concrete gravity dam on the island of Whalsay in Shetland, the Bu Water lies to the north of the Ward of Clett, a half-mile (0.8 km) east southeast of Symbister. Along with the Loch of Huxter, the Bu Water provides drinking water for the island. It is operated by Scottish Water.
