Loch of Queyfirth

A brackish loch on the east coast of the Northmavine peninsula in the north of the Shetland Mainland, the Loch of Queyfirth is situated a half-mile (1 km) southeast of South Collafirth and a mile (1.6 km) northwest of Ollaberry. It is separated from the sealoch of Quey Firth by a narrow sand bar, open at its southern end. The loch receives the Burn of Queyfirth together with several smaller streams.
