The Lion's Head and Lion's Haunch of Arthur's Seat

A summit which represents one of several ancient volcanic vents associated with the Arthur's Seat complex in Edinburgh's Holyrood Park, the Lion's Haunch (or Nether Hill) takes its name from the shape of a crouching lion. It rises to 237m (777 feet) to the south of the Lion's Head of Arthur's Seat.
