Loch Killisport


(Loch Caolisport)

A sea loch on the coast of Knapdale (Argyll and Bute), Loch Killisport (Gael: Loch Caolisport) extends 5 miles (8 km) southwest into the Sound of Jura from Achahoish. The loch gave its name to the Royal Navy frigate HMS Loch Killisport launched in 1944. St Columba's Cave is situated on its north shore near Ellary.
