Druim an Achanarnich

A ridge on the west coast of Mid-Argyll, Druim an Achanarnich rises to 68m (223 feet) a half-mile (1 km) north of Craignish Castle, overlooking the northern end of the Sound of Jura. There is a precipitous cliff on the seaward side and the remains of an ancient fort on the summit, oval in shape and surrounded by a ruined stone wall.
