Ben Ime

(Beinn Ime)

Located north of Argyll Forest Park within Argyll and Bute, Ben Ime (also Beinn Ime) is the highest of the Arrochar Alps. Rising to a height of 1012m (3321 feet) it has a large cairn on its summit and qualifies as a Munro. The north and east flanks leading to the summit are steep and rugged, while the southern flank in contrast is grassy. Its name is derived from the Gaelic for "butter hill".
