Basta Voe

A significant sea loch on the E coast of Yell in Shetland, Basta Voe cuts well into the northern section of the island. It opens into Hascosay Sound, with Burra Ness forming a prominent headland to the north of its entrance. The settlements of Cunnister and Sellafirth lie on its northeasterly shore, with Dalsetter at its head and Colvister on its western shore.
