Ben More

Ben More is the highest peak on the island of Mull in Argyll and Bute, rises to a height of 966m (3169 feet) to the west of Mull's main central range of hills and qualifies as a Munro. The only island Munro which is not on Skye, Ben More is a massive grey bulk, whose upper slopes are covered in a mantle of angular scree. Its northeastern corrie is particularly craggy and often contains snow well into the spring. There was once an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar at the summit but this was removed and replaced by a simple marker in 2002.
