Loch Maddy


(Loch nam Madadh)

A large sealoch of the eastern coastline of North Uist in the Western Isles, Loch Maddy (Gael: Loch nam Madadh) contains many small, uninhabited islands and islets. The principal village on the loch is Lochmaddy, from where ferries sail to Uig on the island of Skye.
