Sgurr Dearg

Sgurr Dearg is located on the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye, in Highland Council, and has three tops, the lowest lies to the west and reaches 929m (3047 feet), while the highest is the extraordinary blade of rock known as the 'Inaccessible Pinnacle', that is located on the southeast side of the apparent summit, which rises to 978m (3208 feet). The Pinnacle reaches 986m (3234 feet) in height, making Sgurr Dearg the only Munro which requires a rock-climb to reach its summit.

The name Sgurr Dearg is Gaelic, meaning "red peak".
