The remains of an early Doric mansion house in Dumfries and Galloway, Holme House (or The Holme) lies a mile (1.5 km) to the northwest of Balmaclellan. Built c.1840, he greater part of the house was demolished in the 1970s, leaving a single storey service court and lodge.
