Arndilly House

Built for David Macdowall Grant in 1750, Arndilly House lies to the north of Craigellachie in Moray. It is situated by the River Spey at the foot of Ben Aigan on whose western slopes is the Wood of Arndilly. In 1850, the house was enlarged in Neo-Jacobean style by Thomas Mackenzie (1814-54). A Pictish symbol stone is built into the west gable.
