A substantial triangular mountain located to the east of the Kinlochhourn Forest in the West Highlands, Sgurr Thionail rises to 906m (2972 feet) overlooking Glen Quoich to the northeast, 2 miles (3 km) south of Glen Shiel and 4 miles (6 km) north of Loch Quoich.
