Aonach Eagach

The mountain ridge of Aonach Eagach runs along the north side of Glen Coe in Highland Council Area. Its summit, Sgorr nam Fiannaidh, reaches a height of 967m (3172 feet) at the western end of the ridge. One of the narrowest ridges in Britain, it provides walkers with a challenging and intimidating experience. To the south lies Ossian's Cave and The Three Sisters.

Aonach Eagach provided a location for the opening sequence of the film Braveheart (1995).
