Brahan Castle

The ruined remains of Brahan Castle are located in the Ross and Cromarty district of Highland Council Area, 4 miles (6 km) southwest of Dingwall. The castle was built in the 17th Century and was the stronghold of the Earls of Seaforth, chiefs of the Clan Mackenzie, before it was demolished in 1953.
