A stream in Stirling Council Area, the Polmaise Burn rises to the northwest of Cowie and flows north to Fallin, before turning northeast and falling into the River Forth at Lower Polmaise, 2½ miles (4 km) southeast of Stirling, having completed a course of 2 miles (3 km).
