Strone Point

A headland of Argyll and Bute Council Area, Strone Point lies between the entrances to Loch Long and the Holy Loch. The village of Strone curves around the headland, while Kilcreggan lies across the loch. There are several shipwrecks lying just offshore. There are two other Strone Points nearby in Argyll and Bute; one located 10 miles (16 km) to the southwest between the Kyles of Bute and Loch Striven, with another extending into Loch Fyne 18 miles (29 km) to the north northwest.
