Swilkie Point

The most northerly point on the island of Stroma in the Pentland Firth off the northern coastline of the Scottish Mainland, Swilkie Point lies a half-mile (1 km) to the north of Nethertown. A lighthouse has been built here. A dangerous tidal race known as the Swilkie persists almost continuously offshore, representing the meeting of contrary tides.
