Traigh na Margaidh
(Tràigh na Margaidh)

An isolated sandy beach on the north coast of the Ross of Mull, Traigh na Margaidh (meaning 'Market Beach') lies 2½ miles (4 km) east northeast of Fionnphort and 2 miles (5 km) northwest of Bunessan. There is a small dune system to the south, and Traigh na Eilean an t-Santachaidh is a similar beach on the opposite side of a small headland to the northeast. The beach was said to be popular with the Royal Family when they were cruising the Inner Hebrides on the Royal Yacht Britannia.
