Barvalgans is a hill of limited prominence within the Galloway Forest in NW Dumfries and Galloway, situated a half-mile (0.8 km) southeast of the southern end of Loch Maberry. Its two summits rise to 142m (465 feet) and just beyond 140m (459 feet) respectively.
