A headland of the northern coastline of Sutherland district in Highland Council Area, Whiten Head (Gael: An Ceann Geal) lies on the eastern side of the entrance for Loch Eriboll 6 miles (10 km) east of Durness. There are several sea stacks offshore, including The Maiden on which climber Tom Patey died in 1970.
