Fortypenny Hill
(Low Countam)

A northern extension of High Countam in N Dumfries and Galloway, Fortypenny Hill (also known as Low Countam) rises to 466m (1528 feet) 1¾ miles 92.8 km) east of Ewe Hill and 8 miles (13 km) southwest of Sanquhar. Its eastern slopes are draped with plantation woodland.
