A summit in SE Dumfries and Galloway, Panteth Hill rises to 124m (406 feet) ¾ mile (1.2 km) southeast of Mouswald. An ancient settlement surrounded by an embankment is to be found on the summit, which is thought also to have been the site of a watch tower.
