A summit in Annandale, NE Dumfries and Galloway, Merecleuch Hill rises to 367m (1532 feet) on the southwestern shoulder of Auldton Fell 1½ miles (2.5 km) northeast of Moffat. The Birnock Water passes to the northwest, while plantation forest extends to the southeast.
