A forested summit in the far W of Dumfries and Galloway, South Moile rises to 242m (793 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) south of Mid Moile and 2½ miles (4 km) northeast of Cairnryan. The little Lake Superior lies a half-mile (1 km) to the southwest.
