Creag Dhubh

Located 2½ miles (4 km) southwest of Newtonmore in the Badenoch district of Highland Council Area, Creag Dhubh is a Graham peak which rises to 756m (2480 feet), making it the highest peak in the vicinity. Adorned with pleasantly-wooded lower slopes, it is popular with rock-climbers as it provides one of Scotland's finest roadside crags on its southern flank, lying alongside the A86 trunk road.
