Birny Knowe An indistinct summit on a tongue extending northeast from Monynut Edge at the eastern end of the Lammermuir Hills in the E of East Lothian, Birny Knowe rises to approximately 270m (902 feet) a mile (1.7 km) north northwest of Wester Dod and 2½ miles (4 km) west southwest of Oldhamstocks. Birny Knowe lies at the centre of the East Lammermuir Deans Nature Reserve, while the Aikengall Community Wind Farm lies to the southwest.
