An indistinct summit on the southern edge of Gullane Links in East Lothian, Gala Law rises to approximately 28m (91 feet) a mile (1.4 km) southwest of the centre of Gullane. There is an old quarry by the sharp bend in the A198 road below the hill, while on its eastern slopes is Brand's Well, possibly a holy well endowed by King David I (1083 - 1153).
