Cairnbulg Castle

A Z-shaped castle in Aberdeenshire, Cairnbulg Castle lies on the Water of Philorth 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Fraserburgh. Thought to date from the 13th Century, and restored in the 19th Century, it was a stronghold of the Comyn family.
