Spott DodA modest summit which represents a foot-hill of the Lammermuirs in the east of East Lothian, Spott Dod rises to 185m (606 feet) ¾ mile (1.3 km) southwest of the hamlet of Spott. The hill rises further to the southwest to form another summit which is crowned by a hill fort known as The Chesters.
